Here's a beautiful story to share with you guys! Enj0y~

The Story of the Butterfly

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly.
One day a small opening appeared.
He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours
as it struggled to squeeze its body through the tiny hole.
Then it stopped, as if it couldn't go further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and
snipped off the remaining bits of cocoon.
The butterfly emerged easily but
it had a swollen body and shrivelled wings.

The man continued to watch it,
expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge
and expand enough to support the body,
Neither happened!
In fact the butterfly spent the rest of its life
crawling around..
It was never able to fly.

What the man in his kindness
and hast did not understand:
The restricting cocoon and the struggle
required by the butterfly to get through the opening
was a way of forcing the fluid from the body
into the wings so that it would be ready
for flight once that was achieved.

Sometimes struggles are exactly
what we need in our lives.
Going through life with no obstacles would cripple us.
We will not be as strong as we could have been
and we would never fly.

Reflection #1

Hey,
Though we lost the match against Trekkers (36-35), it is a GG. We had many turnovers throughout the game and committed many mistakes which we should not. However, it should not affect us, negatively.

Losing is an important experience learnt. I am particularly happy to see you guys, all of you, putting up a good fight, and esp. in the last quarter, whereby we are down by 14points and we chased it back.

Just like the match against Northvale, we never gave up even when we were down by 10+ points. We eventually managed to turn the tide.

In conclusion, WELL DONE. Even though some of you did not manage to participate, your presence added encouragement to the players.

All we have to do now is to win the next match which should be against Lihai they all. Win them and laugh at Lihai, Lihai only.

P.S. TAG TO SUPPORT THE LAST PARAGRAPH. LIHAI DAMN GL. WE ALL SHOULD GANG HIM. DUN BULLY CUTE H3n.
